Location: Novotel Hotel, Ahmedabad
Tektronix Seminar brought together the best and the brightest minds of Space Application Center, ISRO, Ahmedabad, Institute of Plasma Research, Gandhinagar, and Physical Research Laboratories, Ahmedabad to discuss the trends in multi-Instrument measurement practices, effective measurement on key RF features, effective receiver testing, challenges and solutions in Power Electronics and how to build customized solutions and service/calibration support with Tektronix Solutions.
The event started sharp at 6PM, in the Crystal Ball room of Novotel hotel. The attendees, strong in numbers, had an eloquent discussion with Mr. Deepak Kulkarni, National Sales Manager for Tektronix, about the multi-instrument measurement practices to effectively and efficiently reduce the cost of design and validation.
Mr. Jatan Shah, Account Manager, focused his time and energy on the specific products, designed specifically as solutions for the discussion of the night; a few mentionable products were the Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG70001), Bertscope (BSA286C), 33GHz Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO73304DX) and the Real Time Spectrum Analyzer (RSA6120B). Mr. Naresh Kumar, CTO Tektronix, explained how to effectively measure on key RF attributes, NPR and Multi tone testing on CW/Pulsed PA, distance tp fault, VSWR and Impedance Measurement.
Mr. Nitin Nigam, Application Engineer, gave his insights about the challenges and solutions in Power Electronics, focused on DC-DC converter testing and Power Supply testing. Mr. Nikhil Mitaliya, Application Engineer, gave the details about an effective receiver testing, discussed the challenges in Receiver testing, the fundamentals and breakdown of jitter and noise.
The night was concluded by a dinner, exquisitely served straight from the kitchen of Novotel, the event saw an attendance of more than 100 scientists and engineers from the in and around Ahmedabad.
